Day 1.5 (Bangkok) – Tinidee Trendy Khaosan Hotel

Known as one of the worlds ‘megacities’, Bangkok is home to a plethora of wheelchair accessible hotels whether it be international or home grown chains. For this reason, it allows one to book a more ‘budget friendly’ yet accessible hotel. Located in the Khaosan district of Bangkok, the Tinidee Trendy Hotel is conveniently situated a mere 25-30 minute walk from sights such as The Grand Palace. It is worth noting that drop kerbs have recently been installed enabling one to cross the AH123 without issue.

Accessibility wise, the room contains ample room for wheelchairs plus a wet room with a shower seat (albeit a little small), perfect for those who wish to visit the city on a budget…

One caveat, however is that Khaosan is named as one of the ‘back packer’ districts of Bangkok hence the parties continue late into the night!
